Posted: 04/30/2005 5:55:21 I am sorry for my unclear question. Here is the steps to reproduce my problem. 1. MM.txt is a japanese charset text file. 2. Open the demo given by TRichview when install: <<[Install Dir]\TRichView\Source\Demos\Delphi\Editors\Editor 1>> 3. Click file menu to clear the existing content. 4. Click Insert>File... 5. In the inserting file dialog, select the ANSI Text Files as the File Type. 7. Click File>Save & Export to save the file as Text (*.txt). 8. The exported japanese content can only be read under japanese locale because it is not unicode. This is correct. 9. But now, try to repeat step 2 - 6, then click File>Save & Export to save the file as rtf. 10. The exported rtf content cannot be read in any locale. This is my problem. Hope this is clear enough for my problem explanation. Thank you...
