Just FYI: XHTML is an HTML saved by rules of XML.

The main advantage of XHTML for developers - it does not allow errors and

omissions in code. If XHTML reader finds, for example, that some tag is not

closed, it must report an error (while HTML readers try to display document

as good as possible even in case of errors in HTML code)
