the problem about TRichViewEdit

In the TrichviewEdit,I Insert into a line characters ,and set the ItemTag

= 100,

but when I Insert a Chinese characters.the ItemTag of Chinese characters

change 0;

why?

when I Insert a characters.the ItemTag of Chinese characters don't change
