You treat all items as text items, but it's wrong.

The first statement after the

//TEXT STYLE PROTECTION -------------------------------------

must be:

if frm_print.rv.getItemStyle(i)<0 then

  continue; // this is not a text item

PS: I guess eitem = EndID, and bitem = StartID.
