Sorry, I thought I answered.

You need to repaint all inplace editors.

var rve: TCustomRichViewEdit;

begin

  rve :=  RichViewEdit1;

  while rve<>nil do begin

    rve.Refresh;

    rve := TCustomRichViewEdit(rve.InplaceEditor);

  end;

end;

There is a method of TRichViewEdit doing it, but, unfortunately, it's not

public.
