Tabbing on selected text and image

Problem faced:

1. Select n image, click tab, image will be deleted. I want the image to be

tab rather than deleted.

2. Same to do with selected text.

3. if select some content which included both text, picture and other stuff,

click on tab, i want it to be tab rather than deleted.

Please help!
