Storing RVF/RTF in Interbase database

When I try to store RVF in my database, using the method with

CreateBlobStream and the SaveRVFtoStream method and later fetch them with

CreateBlobStream and LoadRVFfromStream, I get an empty Richview.

When I try the same with RTF, the text gets stored, but the formatting (Bold

etc) doesn't, so the result of the fetched data is plain text.

I'm using Firebird with a Blob subtype 0, segment size 80.
