SaveRVFToStream slow?

Hello,

I have a RichViewEdit, and fill it with a document that contains about 50

images, so it is fairly big. Saved as .rvf file, it is about 20MB.

If I save the document using SaveRVF (filename), it gets saved in 0.5 seconds,

which is great.

But if I try to use SaveRVFToStream () with a TMemoryStream, the saving takes

145 seconds.

How does this happen? Can a stream be so slow compared to a file on harddisk?

I would have guessed that a stream is faster.
