I have put that project aside for a week or 2 but his dedication to support is terrific. Now for my current project. I need an idea on which way to go so I am open to suggestions. I need to genorate a printable form/display. It has several items. Some are editable by the user and some are not. However I need to be able to print the finished display. The user displays the original Document. The application adds a date and a number as well as an image. I do not want the user to be able to remove these. But the user has a couple of areas that he or she can write text and info, paste from a clipboard or whatever. At the completion, the document gets saved and the whole thing needs to be printed images, date, numbers and user added text. What is the best method to achieve this? Do I have to create a template file, load it etc or should I do all the above on the fly? Also if I can do it with a template, can I load the template into a TRICHEDIT, use the fillfield method as per the demo's to add the date etc and then allow the user to add his text without being able to change the template or the date etc? Any suggestions? -- Using M2, Opera's revolutionary e-mail client: http://www.opera.com/m2/ |
