letterhead and watermark questions

I am creating a mail merge application and the specifications call for an

image to be placed at the top of the first page [only] as a �letterhead� and

a second image at the bottom of this first page [only] as a �footer�.  All

the following pages are to have a centered watermark image which is clear

how to use, but it should NOT appear on the 1st page.  Your advise please.
