Just so I am clear ... say I have an html or rtf doc loaded into RichView.

What I want to do is something like, set rv.PlainText := true;

rv.SaveTextToFile/Stream; //This will only save ascii text - no images,

formatting or html/rtf tags - just the plain text. Is that what you mean by
