Posted: 01/29/2002 13:35:00 You can try to - store last item index in some class field, say CachedItemNo - when you need the actual item index, use a function like if (CachedItemNo<0) or (CachedItemNo>=RVData.Items.Count) or (RVData.GetItem(CachedItemNo)<>Self) then CachedItemNo := RVData.GetItemNo(Self); Result := CachedItemNo; where RVData is an object containing this item.
