The way I understand it is TCheckpointdata holds all the details

(properties) a checkpoint. It is a parameter of severl events or

return value of several methods. (taken from the help file)

One example is in the delphidemos\multidemo\RVDemo.dpr project. The

checkpoint subdemo uses the TCheckpointData to select the checkpoint

from the list on the left when it becomes visible in the TRichView.

I'm just learning about the details of TRichView so I don't know if

that answers your question. There may be more advanced uses for this

but probably most of the time you would just use the references passed

in procedures and events.
