calculating line length in paragraph for custom styling

Does anyone know of a good way, or is it even possible to calculate

the longest line in a paragraph during OnDrawParaBack?

I need to provide some custom paragraph formatting. The MaxTextWidth

of the TRichViewEdit is set to keep a specified column width. So if

the user just types until the text wraps around the longest line would

be equal to calculating textwidth x maxtextwidth.

The problem is that a user can use Shift-Enter to break a line within

a paragraph. Or could even just type one short line in the paragraph.

In this case is it possible to calculate the longest line when

OnDrawParaBack is fired?
