Posted: 11/13/2003 23:42:23 Sergey, There are several ways of doing autocompletion. I don't like the implementation in Delphi. And it's not usefull for my goal: I want to introduce a computer in some complex medical examination, the (para-)medics should concentrate on the patient, and not on the keyboard. I good example, that can work in practice, is the "autocorrect" feature in Word: You've a list of say 100 .. 200 words and there user abbreviation, like mw = Microsoft Word m$ = one of Bills products when I type mw is m$. as soon as I've typed a word, and type a space or period, the word is looked up in the table and replaced, so I end up with Microsoft Word is one off Bills products. The reason for not using Word, is that other parts are already in RichView (both for editing and report generation). The nice thing of RichView is that it can "easily" adapted to the specific needs at a certain workplace.
