If you include rvpaoReadOnly in Options of paragraph style, this paragraph

cannot be edited. But it can be deleted as a part of larger selection.

If paragraph is read-only and contains at least one undeletable item, it

cannot be modified and deleted.

You can make any non-text item undeletable as it was shown above (by

assigning non-zero value to rvepDeleteProtect property).

You can make a text item undeletable by including rvprDeleteProtect in the

Protection property of the text style of this item (there are some other

protection options for text, see TFontInfo.Protection in the help file)
