Thanks for the reply which helped solve the problem.

Sigh. I wish I had known about that "add styles dynamically" feature before

I began tearing my hair out for the last couple of days. Didn't know it

even existed and didn't see this in the documentation although it's probably

there and I missed it when I went through them and all the examples.

My original suggestion stands however in that I would recommend that you

develop an database version of the RFEditor example project for peoples use.

The database examples you do provide are a bit weak in that only the "B"

(bold) button is implemeted and you don't really get a feel for what your

component can do in the database area. Your best example IMHO is the

RFEditor project and with a bit more polish and a bit more fleashing out

this would be excellent for use with databases.

Question: Have you ever thought of just providing a drop in unit with form

so that new users could quickly just "add" them to their projects? This

wouldn't be hard to do IMHO and would greatly lessen the learning curve for

TRichEdit. While TRichEdit can do many things it would seem that the most

popular function would be basic text formatting.

Another question: Any possibility of building a special quick report

component to make use of TRichEdit with QuickReport? While separate printing

using your provided components is fine it does limit TRichEdits usefulness

somewhat, especially with databases....
