A few questions about CheckPoints. I saw that a CheckPoint is related to an

"item", but I cannot figure exactly what it means in practical, when

considering the text from user point of view (i.e. editing a continuous

text) :

1/ What happens to a CheckPoint when the corresponding text position is

deleted ? Does it depend on how the deletion occurs (ERASE, DEL, Cut ...) ?

2/ Is there a mean to prevent from deleting CheckPoints, i.e. consider them

as some kind of area delimiter that cannot be overwritten nor removed by

user edit operations ?

3/ Are CheckPoints restored in a Cut/Paste operation ? If so, will a

Copy/Paste duplicate the original CheckPoint's NAME, or is there some

feature to ensure uniqueness of the name ?
