Hello,
I have Rad Studio 10.2. I have installed TRichView using TRichViewSetup-Pre18.exe. (I was a registered user LONG LONG ago).
When I open Rad Studio and create a new VCL app, I cannot find the TRichView components. When I open an old app created with TRichView, I get errors such as "Class TRichViewEdit not found..."
Somebody please help me get the components installed into my IDE.
Thanks!
Vic

1. Did the installer report success?
2. Which Rad Studio edition do you use?

Yes, the installer reported success. I am using RAD Studio 10.2, which has been upgraded from 10.1.
On another PC which never had RAD Studio installed previously, I installed 10.1 (Delphi) and confirmed it was working. Then installed TRichView pre-18 and whenever RAD Studio loads, it complains that it cannot find the BPL files in the C:\Users\Public\Documents\Embarcadero.... folder. There are no BPL files there after the install. Uninstalled and reinstalled, same thing.

Re: Cannot find Components after Install
Maybe you have a Starter edition?
In this edition, command line compilers report success but do nothing. So the only way to install in a Starter edition is opening packages one by one, compiling and installing them in IDE.
